About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity for a Shift Boss to join Anglo American Platinum's dynamic team. Mining Engineer and similar professionals are invited to apply. The role is based in Gauteng and is open to candidates with a minimum of 1 year(s) of relevant experience.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this role, candidates must satisfy each of the criteria listed below.
- Project management certification will be advantageous
- Must have own reliable transport
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- Qualified artisan/tradesperson (Red Seal advantageous)
- Experience with ERP systems or similar software

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare production, safety and environmental reports
- Monitor geological and geotechnical conditions
- Maintain mining equipment in good order
- Manage drilling and blasting operations safely
- Oversee mineral extraction and processing
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following skills:
- Geological mapping
- MHSA compliance
- Equipment operation
- First aid certification
- Explosive handling and blasting
